Dr. Furkan Dogan

Dr. Furkan Dogan is a double board certified oral surgeon and dentist anesthesiologist. She was born and raised in Istanbul. After she obtained her first dental degree from University of Marmara, Turkey in 2002, she went to obtain an American Dental Degree from Tufts University in Massachusetts in 2009. She then completed Dental Anesthesiology residency at NYU Langone Hospitals, Brooklyn, NY (formerly known as NYU Lutheran Medical Center) and is board certified, and diplomate of American Dental Board of Anesthesiology.

She pursued her long term goal of becoming a surgeon and completed Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at Howard University Hospital in Washington, DC, is board certified and diplomate of American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.

She is ATLS, ACLS, PALS certified and is an instructor for BLS, ACLS, PALS

Dr. Dogan is an active member of American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, American Dental Board of Anesthesiology, Virginia Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Virginia Dental Society, and the American Dental Association.
